Telluride Bluegrass Festival...some of the best corn I have ever had...loved it.
Cheryl's mom's 70th Birthday. We counted about 100 people in attendance. She is a loved woman.
This was my second trip to Hawaii this year. And I saw lava which was amazing. But it didn't turn out to be as cool as the manta ray night snorkel.
My cute nephew Jakob's baptism. He asked me to do the prayer. So cute.
Some good times skiing. I got me a pair of snow blades and I love them. Now I don't have to rent when I hit the slopes.
Although seeing the manta rays was my favorite moment, this was probably my favorite day of 2008. We started the day out yurting in Wyoming...
We hurried home, washed and went to the military ball. I loved it. I wish I could go every year. This is a pic of the cool guys that we went with to the ball.
Here are the cool girls.
This was my first trip to Hawaii in January with the roommates. It was a lot of fun but unfortunately I had to go back since we didn't get to see mantas or lava.

Cher and I got lucky and got to go on a hot air balloon ride. It was crazy to just have a basket under your feet. Crazy! But I loved it.

This is a pic at the hospital of my cute niece Marie who was born and named after my mom.

My nieces made this cool IPOD cake for me on my birthday. They are so cool.
One of my goals for 2009 was going to be to start posting on my blog. But then on Dec 29, I found out that I lost my job and my goals, well "what goals." I was overcome with the questions like...what am I going to do with my life to do a post or set and make goals. So I thought I would start with the best of 2008 and then move on to 2009 next week. Maybe I could even get into the habit of making a weekly post. Wish me luck!!
